once and for all, the truth behind the t68i screensaver
Question:
Lets get this sorted now because I am getting tired of seeing posts wrongly describing the reson for the 'screensaver'.

1. LCD screens DO NOT suffer from burn-in. Plasma screens, CRTs and some TFT's experience burn-in but not LCDs.

2. The only reason for the 'screensaver' is to save on battery consumption and NO you cannot turn it off.

3. Yes it is annoying (personal opinion!)

4. It shouldn't be called a screensaver, instead it should be called a batttery saver but that would confuse the hell out of Mr & Mrs Stoopid.

bye!
